AGM April 2016

At the AGM on 23 April

The Secretary reported a successful year with various functions being well attended and enjoyed by members and visitors alike.  He also observed that numbers attending had increased over the year.  He commented on the Christmas dinner and noted that there had been a couple of incidedts so it may be that a new venue would be found for 2015

The Treasurer reported that the accounts for the period showed a small profit and that all our liabilities had been paid.  However the cost of hiring the facility had increased, due in part to the introduction of the "Living Wage" recently introduced.  He stated that he had looked at the various ways of raising the necessary funds and his proposal was to increase the annual subscription from £10 to £15.  This would provide the major part of the required capital the rest was to come from increasing the visitors fees from £7 to £8 persession.  The attendance fees for members would remain at £4.  Children under 18 are still free when attending with the family group.

From the Chair, the committee was thanked for the work throughout the year.  As a result of the increase in numbers attending it was decided that we needed to increase the size of the committee and two members who had volunteered their services were voted in.  Sleaford Swim continues to flourish as the only naturist swim in Lincolnshire.
